GRANT’S HISTORY

The same values that first inspired William Grant still guide us today, and four generations later, every bottle of Grant's Scotch whisky is made with the same care and craftsmanship as the vert first in 1898.

In 1886, William and his family of ten had saved enough to buy their own piece of land and together they built their distillery.

Today, we sell over 54 million bottles of whisky each year in over 180 countries, making Grant's one of the most popular Scotch whiskies in the world. Our iconic triangular bottle shape has of course been retained.

GRANT’S PROCESS

Making Scotch whisky is a fairly simple process. There are just three main ingredients: fresh Scottish air, water and the finest quality cereals, either grain or barley.

Making great blended whisky, however, is a more complex business. With some 25 different malt and grain whiskies in the Grant's blend, you start to get the picture.

Tradition, passion and expertise are therefore equally important ingredients; ingredients that Grant's has in abundance.
